Product Description

The VTS radar is designed to detect and track surface vessels and low-altitude flying targets within the reconnaissance and surveillance coverage area, and measure target parameters including range, azimuth and velocity. It delivers all-weather monitoring of vessels, fixed objects and low-altitude aircraft in jurisdictional waters or waterways. The system can detect and track maritime and low-altitude targets, generate target plots and track data, output real-time target position information, and transmit such data to display control terminals or supervision platforms via network interfaces.

The radar system consists of five core subsystems: antenna unit, turntable unit, power feeding distribution unit, transceiver unit and control terminal.

1. The antenna unit comprises radome, slotted waveguide, feed lines and other components.

2. The turntable unit is composed of support frame, servo system and associated assemblies.

3. The power feeding distribution unit includes power feed distribution network and dual-unit control circuit.

4. The transceiver unit integrates transmitter, low-noise amplifier (LNA), receiver, frequency source, signal processor, data processor, network equipment and other modules.

5. The control terminal is made up of control computer and network switching devices. Network communication is adopted for data transmission between the radar main unit and control terminal.

The radar supports access to external sensors such as AIS for data fusion between radar tracks and AIS messages. Equipped with electronic chart functions and standard network interfaces, it uploads radar tracking data to the supervision platform to build an integrated regional intelligence situation picture. It provides accurate, intuitive and reliable intelligence support for target detection, identification, tracking, disposal and evidence collection of vessels within the jurisdiction. The system enables continuous tracking and comprehensive monitoring of moving targets including ships and low-altitude UAVs, greatly improving the persistent surveillance capability for maritime vessels.
