Recently, Zhejiang Province's first zero-carbon intelligent shipping route, led by private enterprises, has entered regular operation on the Hangzhou-Ningbo Canal. The thousand-ton pure-electric cargo vessel "ZhigeJi 001" has completed shore-based charging and refueling, marking a substantive step forward in the green and intelligent transformation of inland waterway shipping.

Inland waterways are characterized by numerous bends, high vessel density, and complex operating conditions, which impose stringent requirements on the environmental adaptability of navigation radars. In this context, the Seaward X Technologies team went to the front lines of operations and successfully completed the shipboard testing of the marine navigation radar SX-1311 on new-energy vessels.

During testing, the SX-1311 demonstrated stable operation and precise detection capabilities, enabling clear identification and continuous tracking of targets such as channel shorelines, buoys, and vessels; its overall performance has received full recognition from shipyard users.

Designed for the intelligent inland waterway vessel application scenario, this radar offers all-weather operation, high resolution, and strong anti-interference capabilities, while also providing the advantages of controlled costs and easy maintenance. It enables autonomous navigation and proactive collision avoidance, making it an ideal solution to meet the requirements for green, intelligent vessels.

Notably, this product has achieved independent control over critical components and signal processing capabilities, effectively challenging the long-standing dominance of foreign brands in the radar systems for inland waterway vessels, and providing a reliable domestically produced alternative for new-energy vessels.
The success of this on-board test marks a significant breakthrough for Seaward X Technologies as it enters the market for new energy marine equipment. Moving forward, the company will continue to optimize its performance, seize emerging opportunities, and contribute to the green and intelligent development of inland waterway shipping.
